Restorative Yoga

The class starts with breath-work and centering followed by gentle stretches for the joints, then poses are done with the use of several  props.  This enables most people to assume the postures without putting any stress on the body.  A perfect way to end the day and bring the body into a relaxation state after a hectic day and before retiring for the evening.  Props are provided to start but you are encouraged to buy your own mat and some props  if you plan to come on a regular basis.

 TIINA VEER’S YOGA FOR ROUND BODIES with Colleen Collins

This class is geared to the voluptuous female form.  It doesn’t matter if you have ever done yoga before; this class has modifications and variations that will make yoga more accessible to you.  Suitable for the beginner or wonderfully restorative for the seasoned yogi; this class is relaxing and fun and takes place in a caring and non-judgmental environment.   You will gain ease of movement and breath through the postures and pranayama exercises and develop a sense of peace and acceptance that comes when practicing yoga on a regular basis.  This class is focused on the concept of health at every size.
